ALYSSA MAYO

As an Innovation Associate in Fahrenheit 212’s Idea Development team, Alyssa takes pride in uncovering consumer insights that lead to transformational changes for our clients.
Alyssa showed interest in design and innovation from the start. Her varied academic interests ultimately led her study both Visual Arts and Mathematics at Colgate University, and spend a semester in the Czech Republic studying architecture and photography. Her artistic thesis, a work concerning the relationship between collective consciousness and mass media, earned her honors recognition and has since been exhibited in group and public art exhibitions around New York.
After graduation Alyssa returned to New York City where she worked as a designer and strategist for a boutique branding firm, focusing on tech start-ups, fashion, and luxury real estate clients. After finding that she preferred the projects where she was able to apply her own insights to impact the concept and user experience of the product itself, she headed straight to Fahrenheit 212. Alyssa quickly immersed herself in client work and has gained expertise in the CPG, retail and toy industries.
While New York has always been her home base, Alyssa is an avid traveler and is always planning her next international adventure. When she isn’t solving problems for Fortune 500 companies, Alyssa serves as the Fahrenheit 212 unofficial party planner, building our company culture while finding innovative ways to stretch internal budgets.
