ALEX BERTHA

Along with a distinct passion for entrepreneurship and innovation, Alex brings a financial and commercial background to Fahrenheit 212 as an Engagement Manager with the Commercial Strategy team.
After graduating from Princeton University with a B.A. in History, Alex went on to join UBS Investment Bank where he worked as an associate in the Consumer Products and Retail Group. During his time there, Alex was involved in high-profile, large-cap M&A transactions, enabling him to both implement corporate strategy and advise on new innovative direction for many multi-national companies. In this advisory role, he has gained a keen understanding of strategic value creation, both through M&A opportunities and internal initiatives across a wide range of clientele. As both internal team leader and main point of client contact, Alex managed complex projects and developed key relationships with clients such as Kraft, British American Tobacco and Church & Dwight.
Today he leverages this cross-industry knowledge of markets, products and consumer trends to drive breakthrough innovation strategy and accelerate the commercialization journey for Fortune 500 companies.
Despite being a Manhattan native, it took Alex until the age of 15 to visit the exotic land below 14th Street. Today he enjoys reading, running, golf and exploring the city he grew up in.
