As the founder of Stuart & Sons, Wayne – and his engineer sons – has dedicated his 30-year career to breaking the established rules of piano design in a passionate quest for the purest, truest sound possible.
Fahrenheit 212 perked up our ears as Wayne shared his process of handcrafting 10 pianos each year at his Australian factory. These acoustical marvels create superlative music in concert halls, recording studios and homes of very lucky individuals around the globe.
Thanks to Wayne, we also now know that “attack” and “reverb” apply to musical realms beyond heavy metal.
