Jared Richardson
As Head of Design at Fahrenheit 212, Jared is responsible for bringing the idea portfolio to life in whatever form is applicable to the idea portfolio. This ranges from graphic design, packaging and branding, to industrial design, 3D modeling, GUI design and designing for motion. Fahrenheit 212 requires a very broad array of skills and creative curiosity, and Jared brings these to the team, as well as innovation experience in multiple industries.
Prior to joining Fahrenheit 212, Jared was the consumer design director at Futurebrand and worked on a variety of consumer branding projects for clients such as Verizon Wireless, Gillette, Coca-Cola, Cadbury Adams, Ricola, Rubbermaid and Musicland (Sam Goody). Before Futurebrand, Jared was at Arnell Group, where he was responsible for creating and implementing identities for leading global communities including designing the RBK logo for Reebok, as well as Con Edison, Daimler Chrysler, Pepsi and Mars M&M’s.
Jared arrived in New York from London in 2000. While in London he was at Wilson Harvey (now part of the Loewy Group). He worked on multiple blue chip clients, including Computacenter, the largest computer reseller in Europe. It was in London that Jared developed a love of typography.
Born in New Zealand, Jared’s father is British and his mother is a “Kiwi”. He graduated from Auckland Institute of Technology with honors. He loves to travel, ticking off two new continents in 2006, and is a very keen snowboarder.
